The Eminem Experience Plays Lakota In Bristol On 24 October, From £18

The Eminem Experience

The Eminem Experience is a touring tribute show that has already been to London in August and Manchester in September, and the Bristol date is Saturday 24 October at Lakota. The band’s own Facebook post for it leads on a competition rather than the music, so that is covered further down, after the details a reader needs to decide whether to go.

Lose Yourself And The Real Slim Shady Are The 2 Songs The Band Names

The post promises Eminem’s greatest hits played live, and the 2 songs it puts its name to are Lose Yourself and The Real Slim Shady, with what it calls fan favourites and deeper classics around them. The band describes it as a full scale hip hop production rather than an average tribute night, which is their own wording and the kind of line every tribute act uses, so the set list from the Manchester date in September would be the better guide to what gets played.

No performer is named on any of the listings and there is no support act. A 7pm start and a 10pm finish means about 3 hours in the room, and with no support that should be most of it given to the show.

The Bar Tab Competition Has No Closing Date In The Post

Clicking Interested on the Facebook event and tagging 3 friends on the event wall enters you for 4 free tickets and a £250 bar tab. That is the whole of what the post says. It does not give a closing date, it does not say how the winner is picked, and it does not say whether someone who has already bought a ticket gets the money back if they win, so anyone hoping to save their £18 that way would want to ask the band on the event page before deciding to wait.

For a group of 4 the prize covers the tickets and leaves a decent night at the bar on top. The odds depend entirely on how many people tag their friends, and the post gives no number for that either.

Torquay In November And Glasgow In December Are Still To Come

Bristol is one stop on a UK run. After Lakota the show goes to Torquay on 28 November and Glasgow on 11 December, which the listings mark as a new date added. London and Manchester have already had theirs.

The Skiddle listing at £18 and the Eventbrite page are both live, and they are worth comparing on the night you buy, because the 2 sites can carry different booking fees for the same ticket.
