A Tribute To Amy At Hampton Hub Club On Halloween Night, 31 October
Anyone in Hampton or Teddington who still plays Back to Black in the car has a show on their doorstep this Saturday. Laura Jane Butler brings A Tribute To Amy and her 7 piece band to Hampton Hub Club on Saturday 31 October, 20 years to the week since the album came out, with tickets at £18 in advance and £22 on the door.
- Date: Saturday 31 October 2026
- Doors: 7pm, last entry 11pm, closes 11pm
- Venue: Hampton Hub Club, 3 Ashley Road, Hampton TW12 2JA
- Tickets: £18 advance through Fixr, £22 on the door
- Box office: Text, call or WhatsApp 07770 636303

The Facebook header gives the time as “1:30 AM PDT”, which is a timezone conversion for an American viewer and lines up with nothing on the night. The venue’s ticket page is the one to trust: doors at 7pm, last entry 11pm. The listing does not give a stage time, so ring the box office number if arriving late matters to you.
Who Is Performing
Laura Jane Butler has toured this show for years and the listing describes it as the only Amy Winehouse tribute endorsed by both of Amy’s parents. She sings with a 7 piece band, so the brass and the backing vocals are played live, not run off a track. The Hampton date is part of her 20 Years of Back to Black tour.
A book by Butler, “In Amy’s Shadow”, is due out soon. The listing carries a line from Janis Winehouse, Amy’s mother, saying it made her want to read more.
Why This Saturday Matters More Than Most Dates

Back to Black was released on 27 October 2006. The Hampton show falls four days after the twentieth anniversary. In her own post for the night, Butler recalls that Amy had to rewrite a line in the title track for BBC airplay, singing “play myself in the head with stupid men” in place of the original, and she asks who could have guessed in 2006 that the songs would still fill rooms two decades on.
Expect the album played through in some form, Rehab, Back to Black, Tears Dry on Their Own, Love Is a Losing Game and You Know I’m No Good among them, with the Frank material and the covers Amy sang live around them.
What The Night Costs
- £18 in advance, £22 on the door, so booking ahead saves £4 a head
- Two people booking ahead pay £36 against £44 at the door
- Fixr charges a booking fee on top of the £18, which the listing does not state, so check the total before paying
- The box office number takes bookings by text or WhatsApp for anyone who would rather not use the site
Hampton Hub Club sits on Ashley Road a few minutes from Hampton station, on the South Western Railway line out of Waterloo via Richmond and Twickenham. The last trains back towards Waterloo run after the 11pm close, so a London crowd can get home without a taxi. Parking on Ashley Road is residents only in parts, and the club is a short walk from the car park on Station Road.

Who Is Running It
The show is a joint listing by Hampton Hub Club and A Tribute To Amy. It is a tribute act, not a Winehouse family event, and the endorsement claim is the show’s own. The club is a community venue, so bar prices will be club prices, and it is a Halloween Saturday, meaning the room may be in costume whether the show calls for it or not.
